sheet metal tonneau

Anyone have any good pics or designs of sheet metal tonnaeus they made themselves? Thanks

what you have to do is take angle iron and do rails on each side of the bedside, then build out of like 1 inch square tubing a frame goin around the inside of the bed and then take a peice of flat stock sheet metal and weld it in spots to the frame. this is how a friend of mine that use to do custom interiors for a livin told me to do awial back when i was thinkin of doin it. hope that helps bro. good luck mario

Nope just invented one. But I do plan on having another one built for my truck sometime.

Just make your frame like they said and you should be fine. Here is a good picture to follow.
