Are you trying to get one that is narower than your stock one?
I would get your stock one shortened to be sure that it works with everything else like driveshaft, bolt paterns, diameter, break lines etc.

You won't find a bolt in, narrower, rear end for an astro van.

The astro van has a center section that is offset 2" to the passenger side. This is what makes things difficult.

If you're not scared of some work, and can live with a driveline that isn't inline (not terribly uncommon even in stock vehicles) you can use a '91 or '92 caprice rear (or any year after that police package rear). That rear end is 4" narrower than the Astro rear, but is not offset from center. Any B-body from 77-92 SHOULD use the same width rear... but I can't confirm this. From 93-96 the rears grew in width about 1.5".

yeah the astro i just bd on 22s we narrowed the rear end 6 inches cause we were gonna go custom rims with a huge lip but then got some standard offset centerlines and put 1 inch spacers in to give it a total of a 4 inch narrow. i narrowed the housing myself and sent the axles out to moser to be shortened.
