Well, there are many ways to lower it. Are you wanting to bag it?

GO TO WWW.KUSTOMCOACHWERKS.COM, THOSE GUYS BUILD THE LOWEST VW'S.
If you want to bag it go to AIRKEWLD.COM
the sambafranklinsKCWshop talk forums those are a few good sites with forums with lots of info on just about anything you will/ might need for your bug including lowering.
also so you need to figure out if its a standard or a super.
I believe it is standard and i just want to lower it as far as possible and not bag it. Thanks for all the info.
if its a super beetle, dont bother, they have struts in the front and are a pain in the ass to lower and dont even go low. also super beetles are the red headed stepchild of the vw scene. if you want a sick low good bug go pre 67! every piece for a pre 67 is avalible in aftermarket and parts are cheap!

I agree with you, but the super beetle does have a better rearend (IRS). If you want to lower the superbeetle, build some custom control arms, and redrill your stock spindle to accept the new balljoints.
