We just retro fitted it and come to find out the low freon switch on the dry can on the firewall is broke. Ive been told these switches are nitorious for going out. Is this true? This means I have to drain the system again right? any input or suggestions is appreciated

BTW This is a 90 silverado

haven't had to change mine, (179,000 on chasis) but i'm not sure if you have to drain it again
