i think its all attitude of the guy... my parentes help me out alot since they are big into it and love what i do.. but i don;t feel any better than someone who has worked for it all.. it all depends on how the person acts and how the craftsmenship is.. anyone who can doquality work i have respect for

damn you all i love this damn site... i can aonly make fun of chris for his truck burning but i got nothinv g on grant

everyone gets respect in different ways... if you built and paid for your truck you get it for that... if you rack up credit cards with a 29% intrest rate cuz its the only way possible you can buy parts for your truck to get it on the ground, you get it for that cuz youll have to pay it back eventually (been there lol)... if your "mommy" pays for your ride and you choose to bag a mini over a stock beemer or benz ill give you much props for that.
if someones a dick then thats them period no matter what. when i first got into minis years back it seemed like theyre were more cocky people that would build their own rides cuz they thought they were the shit then the rich kids who just mobbed there minis cuz they liked them. tons of cool people i hang with now and we all work on our rides much as we can and some have shops do stuff

i think when u first start anything, knowledge shows cockyness. but thats just me, thats how i see it. you gotta get in the game and learn then you realize those guys are doing it for the same reason you are, the love of building something custom.
