who cares if your parents are rich and willing to buy all this shit for your ride? if your a little bitch and act like a punk people dont respect you anyways, but if your chill and you appreciate what you got why shouldnt you be respected? i paid off my truck myself and paid for almost everything else, but my mom has helped me with some things and if she was willing to pay for everything i doubt i would turn it down.

As long as there attitude is in the right spot thats all that matters, some people just have it easier than others hell its takin me 5 years on mine and I still am not finished but its been a fun 5 years workin on it. But if they have mom and dad pay for it or if even they pay for it and then take all the credit for the finished product I will RAG that ASS every chance I get!!

people think im some stuck up rich kid when i first tell them what i have for a daily, bought by my parents. im so far from it its not even funny. I think as far as a mini is concerned, as it was said before, the attitude of the person and how they hold themselves is like a first impression on who they are. If the guy has his head tilted back muggin people then says his mom payed for it, people are gunna hate. I personally think if your parents are well enough off to front you the cash, noone here would say no to free money. And I think if the cash was given, and he put it to use with a mini, and BUILT IT HIMSELF, the money shouldnt be a factor, but if he payed someone for parts and labor, its a little less admirable. Then again.....he picked a mini over an import so respect is given there.

In our latest DVD, there is a feature on a badass Honda Civic. The owner is proud as hell to say that her Daddy built it for her. Funny as hell! But the thing is that Daddy was there supporting her AND the show. Especially with her Georgia accent... Just depends on the owner's attitude. If you're a dick, you should get picked on, no matter who paid for it!

^^^exactly. im hoping my dad helps on the money part of mine or it will never get finished. then again i want it as a full out father/son project cuz we could both learn more about things that we need to know about cars anyways. plus the time spent under a car with someone is always better than watchin t.v.

WORD... I can't wait for the day my boy is old enough so we can build a vehicle together!!! I'll pay for everything just for the chance to make a bond like that. Not getting mushy, it's just that a father/ son project is WAY DIFFERENT than using mommy's credit card to spend at every shop in town. Way too many people do that, and claim they built it themselves or were ha, ha, "sponsored". Git sum dirt under dem finger nails, son...
