needin' some help

ok so the s10 i bought has 2 tanks 2 compressors a 4 1/2 valves.....it has a starter solenoid to distribute power i guess....and i replaced it the day i bought it due to one of the connections breaking off......so now it has been working ok for about a week. today while driving home i heard the compressors running for a long time.....i turned off the truck and the compressors didnt shut off even though theyre wired to the ignition.....so i took out the fuse and when i got home changed the pressure switch and tryed it again.....they stay on while running w/out turning off but when i shut the truck off they shut off also.....i just need to know what to fix to make the compressors only fill up the tanks....seems like the pressure switch should do that but i dont know because everything is wired through the solenoid....it has a wire direct from the battery, both compressor wires both grounds and thats it...so i just need some help on the whole situation.....thanks

Something is not wired right man, take a picture of it so we can see it. And also a solenoid will burn up and stay on so that power goes through it continuously so it might need to be replaced with a heavy duty solenoid.
