Buying clear glass

where is everyone getting their clear glass from? im looking for all new glass for my s10 but wanted it to be 100% clear, not with the factory tint. What kinda price range does this stuff run? i heard it was pretty expensive. 1 more ?, is the border still blacked out so you cant see the glue?

My cousin got some clear glass for his full size and the borders were blacked out as far as price I'm not sure, he just found someone with clear windows and convinced them thier truck would look awesome with the tinted windows he had so they just swapped them. The swapping was like 65 dollars for each truck i think.

I'm assuming that you want the clear back glass. It will still have the green tint to it, all domestic glasses have the green solar control tint nowadays. It lists for 187.40, but you could probably get it installed for around 135-150, depending on your local glass shops rates. All new glass wil have the black border around it to conceal the glue. The only reason the older model glasses do not have a border around them is beacuase they are held in by a gasket or use a butyl tape to hold the glass in place

Any glass shop can get that. The second gen are a different story

yeah all clear glass looks bitchin. i was hoping to get some for the ranger when i get enough money for it.

thanks. yea ive seen the all clear glass on a few square body s10's but not new ones. the glass is contoured so i didnt think of checking with a local glass company yet. Travis ill give you a call... its going to be first of the year before i need it but im just planning while im saving money for my motor. Any more ideas are welcome thanks...
