brake booster?

i need a smaller brake booster for my 99 f150 because the wheels hit it with my new control arms. i've heard that i can use a explorer brake booster but not sure . any help would be great

i did a ford ranger brake booster which is prolly about the same as an explorer. It bolts directly to the master cylinder and to the firewall, but you have to extend the push rod that connects it to the brake pedal. if you plan on bodydropping then this booster will work w/ that too. =)

yea an older ranger/explorer booster should work.

MINES A 99 I USED AN OLDER EXPLORER ONE. WORKED FINE I ONLY HAD TO EXTEND THE PUSHROD AN INCH OR SO.

mine is a 93 ford mustang. bolts right up to the firewall. had to extend the pushrod about 2 inches. and if u go to body drop ur truck that will work as well with it
