GC valves leaking

I bought 8 of these 250psi valves and finally got to install them on my ride. Now I have a problem with 7 of them leaking some of them even leaking up..... I took them apart to make sure that there was no tears, or anything in them,or that there was no junk stuck to the diaphram..... Still leaks and now when I get to a cruise night, I have to get out and unplug one of my rear lines so it doesn't leak up. Is there anything that I could to to help make them close all the way,and stop the leaking? Some people said put a little bit of spray oil or Vasaline on them, but I don't want to put anything on until I get some more opinions. Thanks for your help.

gc's usually leak when you first get them installed, put a little compressor oil, a little into the intake line for each valve and it should fix em right up within a few hours of up and down/

I HAD THE SAME PROB WITH MY 250'S. MIKE AT GRAVITY-WERX HAS A NEW VERSION OF THEM. THEY ARE STILL THE 250 BUT HAVE A BLUE COIL ON THEM. I'VE HAD THEM FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND STILL HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE. OR CALL GC AND THEY'LL SEND YOU NEW DIAPHRAMS FOR FREE. GOOD LUCK.

I talked to Blake from GC recently and I'm pretty sure he mentioned several times how we shouldn't use any type of lubricant in the valves. I think because certain lubes and all can damage the diaphrams and other parts.

I'd definitely contact him and get his input.. or possibly discuss exchanging the valves. He's a cool guy and down to help out when theres ever a problem with GC valves.

help!! anyone know where to get some 1/2 inch mac daddy vales?? is there something wrong with the manufacturing?

mine leaked down in the front. my buddy's leaked up in the back. the old ones suck especially with old diaphrams

you know ricky, ive heard that as well but ive had some gc's with ;compressor oil running through them on occasion and they have not leaked more than a few times in the past year or almost even 2 now, so i guess this means what they say is not the only solution. but hey, follow the rules or youll void the warrantee.

i have the same problem with those peice of shit gc fuckers i got on my car, the mother fuckers leak up, i never heard of such.

my boyfriend has the mac daddy vavles and the compressors turn on in the middle of the night and that back leaks up when driving what do we do

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'll give him a call tomorrow and see what to do....
