How long?

ive been "working" on mine for about 5 years now but started the phase its in now in sept so about 8 months. If i had the money it would be alot closer but i need to finish my motor before i can build the floor, firewall, trans x member, exhaust, pedals, steering, brakes, inner fenders, wiring, interior, bodywork, primer, then paint, oh yea forgot the bed... Dont worry about it man. some people spend like 7 years on nothing. Youre doing it yourself so its not like youre having to wait on a shop to do the work and youll have a kick ass truck when its done. Thats what keeps me going

Mine hasn't left the garage for 2 years. It's getting close to being drivable, but I have gotten lazy over the last couple of months.

DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE OR MAKE WILL DETERMINE HOW LONG IT MIGHT TAKE TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR VEHICLE. MOST GUYS HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THEM SINCE THEY DAY THEY BOUGHT AND WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO TO IT. I DON'T REALLY BELIEVE IT MATTERS HOW LONG IT TAKES, AS LONG AS YOU ARE DOING WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO, IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER.

IT WILL BE AT LEAST ANOTHER YEAR OR SO BEFORE I CAN EVEN BEGIN ON MY CAR--04 PT CRUISER.

ALSO, ONCE YOU DO FINISH YOUR RIDE, MOST JUST START ANOTHER ONE AND ANOTHER ONE, ETC...................

mine will never be "finished". ive had my ranger since i was 16 and just did little stuff to it like static drop, wheels, and some shaving while i was in highschool. its been torn apart since august doing the stockfloor w/ all new suspension and some new bodywork. once its painted w/ an interior ill drive the hell out of it for a while and then prob rebuild it.

3 years to its current state of confusion Its tough building a truck when you dont work.
