Canon SLR/DSLR's are great.
Superb quality, reliablity and some outstanding picture.

Though you wont find a digital camera with interchangable lenses (non existant), you will be able to find a DSLR.

www.dpreview.com

Site will help you with anything you need.

I bought my Kodak EasyShare DX6490 with 4.0 Mega Pixels for $400 at Wal-Mart a few years ago. They have better models out now. It takes great photos I use it for my show coverage

It doesnt have removable lens but still a nice camera.

One of my fav. resonable priced cameras is the Canon S2 IS. Its a 5.0 megapixel with 12x optical zoom and image stabilization. It runs between $300-400.

Actually you can get a tube adapter for that cam that will let you use a 55mm lenses, filters, ect...

I recently got a Kodak Z760 its small eneought that its not a pain in the ass to carry around all the time, and its 6.1 mega pixels lots of settings and i got a tube adapter, some filters and a wide angle and telephoto lens for it, takes very good pics for what I need.
