Well, my truck already has a Chassis Tech Bumper, molded rollpan, shaved handles, shaved tailgate w/ license plate box, clear bumper lights, and billet grille...Next on the list is a Full Throttle Suspension 15" lift kit w/ adjustable rear air suspension...im wondering if i should sew the back end shut? Maybe a custom sheetmetal bed?

My personal belief is trucks for offroad should leave the tailgate and rollpan "floating". With the amount of flex fullsize frames go through, you will probably end up with wrinkles in body or cracks in paint.

Well, the truck is gunna be mainly a show vehicle...i dont think it will ever see the road when its lifted and painted all gnarly.

What do u all think of a custom sheetmetal bed on a lifted truck? Im going for the "most shaven lifted truck"

if you do a tilt bed youd be able to see it i guess it would be tight other wise it would be kinda iffy

Customizing on lifted trucks in my opinion is still a little misguided. Everybody dumps money into their lifts and paint and dont focus much on the shaving stuff. I would personally not go with a welded tailgate if I was to lift. A line a fire to replace the tailights would look pretty kool. Since you have alot shaved already, you should look into the offroad 20's as well.

Wel, the tail lights are getting shaved for sure. I have the fillers in hand and im just waiting for my buddy to do the work. I think im gunna put two 15" LEDs in the rollpan, that way when i lift it, the lights wont be up all high...And im gunna get the 3rd brake light shaved, as well as the rain gutters on the back of the cab. I was thinkin about welding the tailgate shut so i can possibly have the most shaven lifted truck...As for wheels, i am definately going with 20+ rims on some 40s.
