I am trying to put a fuel injected 5.0 in my 2000 ranger that is bd'd 4 inches. I know its gonna come through the hood but what are the steps i can take to keep it as low as i can. The rack seems to be in the way with the stock oil pan. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 5.0 in my doored 97 Ranger. Running a Mustang rack, front pickup is in the way. Good luck finding a better pan. I have hunted for quite awhile with no luck. Depending on space you can check out Moroso web site, have many pans with dimensions. Good luck and let me know what you find.

The verdict is that the ranger suspension is coming out. That is the only way to fix the problem.
