I am trying to put a fuel injected 5.0 in my 2000 ranger that is bd'd 4 inches. I know its gonna come through the hood but what are the steps i can take to keep it as low as i can. The rack seems to be in the way with the stock oil pan. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be greatly appreciated.
Run the 4 cyl or a toyota clip, you PUSSY!
Oh, and your frame is also Z'ed 1.5".
How do you know so much about my truck stranger. You act like its been in your garage for the last year and almost a half. So where am I gonna get this yota clip?
I have a 5.0 in my doored 97 Ranger. Running a Mustang rack, front pickup is in the way. Good luck finding a better pan. I have hunted for quite awhile with no luck. Depending on space you can check out Moroso web site, have many pans with dimensions. Good luck and let me know what you find.
The verdict is that the ranger suspension is coming out. That is the only way to fix the problem.
i have a 5.0 in my 99 it bodydrop 2 1/2 and z'd 2/12 and my rack was fine i dont no how far it goes in to the hood cuz i dont have a body back on yet.
