Im tryin to do the same thing. Im think ill go with a tahoe... more room inside for people to ride with if im going to long distance shows, and i could sleep in it if i wanted. They are more expensive than a truck but money aside i would take a tahoe.
Downfall is that if im gettin dirty steel its a pain to try to put into a tahoe instead of a truck.

I tow with a 99 Suburban and love it. I don't know about the newer Tahoes, but on the older ones you can't roll down the back windows more than 8 inches. That is why we went with the 'burb.

heard that Tahoe springs are too soft for towing...and that The sag is rediculous...
