Just wondering if anyone sells bare hoops. I am interested in making my own wheel. I talked to Kustom Creationz and they won't sell just hoops...any ideas?

it would not be hard to bend some solid round bar around something round.. that would be rather easy... or even take 2 180 degree bends from a bender and put them together...

Yeah I want either stainless or aluminum though. I dont have access to a bender, otherwise I;d try that route. I'm going to talk to the guy that does my bending and laser cutting tomorrow and see what he thinks.
I figured if i could just get a hoop, i could draw up the design I want, have it cut, and just weld it together.

Most places like BAD, Colorado Customs, Billet Specialties, steering wheels are all one piece designs, I think Kustom Creations are the only place that makes 2 pieces.

Cut the size circle out of MDF(wood) that you want. Get the thickness of aluminum you want.
Trace the wood ring onto the aluminum. Cut the inside out and the outside. Leave about an 1/8 in. of material on each side of your mark. Now attach the wood ring to your cut piece of aluminum and router that shit. Done you've got your aluminum ring.
