New dually owner from charlotte nc

I recently bought a 1988 crewcab longbed dually but, it is a 1987 body style. is this common?

The crewcabs stayed that style thru 1991, so yes it's common. 92-2000 are the next body style of crewcab.

Where you at in the Queen City bud? thats where I was born and my family lives. Im down there at least once a year....
