why do people post what could be taken as negative comments before they ask the manufacturers whose phone number is 530 532 7832 talk to matt and email them a pic they'll take care of it

Agree with Chad ...posting isnt gonna help them fit a bit ....and everyone knows Steve is a good guy that will work with his customers and take care of em....

In the time it took to write the initial post... a call to Can-Do would have straightened it out.

i wasnt posting it in a negative way, it was more asking if it was a normal thing , i have already contacted both thru email and am waiting on a response, just wanted to see if anyone else had issues with theres fitting and if it would be fixed easily

it wasnt meant to be negativ e toward grant or cando, the combo i bought from grant fits great

I guess its just a matter of time before every manufacturer gets their own "bad product" topic.

I think I will start one of my own:

My gilfriend has a Volkswagen Jetta, does anyone else have this problem?

i have installed quite a bit of grant stuff over the years. one thing i have been able to count on is the consistency of the parts. the parts are custom built to templates. there will be some slight variation in the parts and the stock vehicle shape as well. the better you are at fabricating/customizing or "installing" the easier it will be to fit. if i notice any product from grant that can use a little bit of fine tuning, i take care of it, install it, then call bob or matt and let them know where they can make improvements. guess what? they listen. that's why they are the best. we could make some parts on our own, but i have found that grants stuff is worth the money. there is no one else close. last thing, bob or matt will always take the time to explain how the parts fit. usually you will need to trim the pieces and make small adjustments. i'm sure you'll hear from them next week.
