if you reall can't get it off try what time1 says or slap the torsion bar back on the arm. that "grooved" round peice is the spline for the torsion bar to grab to, including the 2bolts that hold it in place.

that sucker shouldn't be spinning. if it is, slap the torsion bar back on and try that out.

Do you still have the front part of your torsion bar? the little bracket on the front of the torsion bar fits over the end of the bolt and then it will hold the bolt against the control arm so you can loosen it.

the splined peice is for the torsions, mine stayed still while i impacted the nut off the other end.....if u are trying to get the control arm off for a new set then ull have a blast, i just put in my tubulars the other day.....the nuts came right off....bolt doesnt come out for shit. used a big punch and a big ass sledge and still dont come out, the bolt corodes to the inside of that sleeve. i got lucky and got one bolt out. that bushing has a sleeve with the rubber around it and that rubber has another metal sleeve around that which will most likely be just as coroded to the frame as the bolt is to the inner sleeve. i tried a socket around it so it wasnt hittin the rubber and just absorbing it, tried air chisel and nothing. ended up using torches to heat and dig the rubber out then torching the outer sleeve in half then air chisel it out. its a bitch......the other side was the same except that we couldnt get the bolt out so we torced it apart too. all day to get that out and 20 mins to weld in the new KW tubulars and bolt them up.
