Is there some kind of special tool used to take off the bolt holding the lower control arm to the frame on a 95 Nissan Hardbody.

Na just tryed it its not that. Its a 3/4" nut on the front side, then on the back it is like a round head with small grooves/teeth around the edges. Looks like around 1 1/16" or so. I'm lost at how the fuck you get this thing off. When you have an impact on the 3/4" side but the round side just spins. Any help would be appreciated.

Ha if only it was that easy. Na I need to get the damn thing off to do some frame repair. Have called the local oreileys and auto zone and they have no clue how to get it off.

put a small tack weld on it then hit the nut with the impact.

Is tha rounded end with "grooves/teeth around the edges" turning as you turn tha nut on tha from side?? My mazda is tha same way and the nut just turned right off for me. If so can you get a vise grip on it?

it isn't a torx head

mine stayed still while the impact removed the nut. try using a pair of channel locks to hold the bolt head while you impact off the nut
