Traditional Body Drop

Plenty of time, we did mine in about 2 weeks

thanks for the compliments like I said it's gettin there. I bought the truck in black primer with a severely hacked up suspension.I reprimered it found the phantom grille on e-bay and have just finished completely redoing the suspension.Now I have to concentrate on the body work and it's very rough as well.Hopefully it will be done this summer while the body drop is getting underway.Not doin alot just straightening it out and putting in new taillights and shaving the backend.Possible suicide doors,but I am debating on the tailgate whether to completely shave or not.It has raised ford letters and if I take them off alot of people wont know what it is!lol I get people at shows calling it a chevy luv all the time until they read ford on the tailgate and then they have to ask me. But thanks again for the props I am lookin forward to draggin the piss out of it this year.And hopefully before summers out it will be draggin body instead of frame.

Alright well someone asked to keep them updated so here it goes.I had a local fabricator come by and look at it and lay out what all we need to do and he will help if we get into a jam.So instead of waiting till after Slammin and Jammin we are going to try and body drop it before.We will be starting on it friday night.Unfortunately this means the body work will have to wait till june.But oh well I want it body dropped bad. I will wait till right after Slammin and Jammin to start on the body.Hopefully that will be done by Havoc and I.T.B.So just wanted to share that I am pretty psyched about draggin body hope everyone digs it when done.

Yep gettin a pack of sawzall blades tomorrow and guttin the interior.After lookin at it closely I think the sawzall is gonna be better to use then the plasma? But if not no biggie we have both.Hopefully it will be cut by saturday and I will keep ya updated Ricky and Matt.
