Smallest 22" tire

245/30/22 is the smallest i found its the same height as the 255/35/20 that is what im putting on my dakota the side wall is like inch and a 1/4

the side wall on a 255-30-22 is 3 inches

Ya, ha ha, but I did find of that the smallest tire for a 22" wheel is the 245/30/22 and it measures 27.7" in diameter. Its a damn expensive tire too!

actually i believe the 295 25 22 is a hair shorter than the 245 30 22.

thats what we have on the show chassis.

Actually, that's backwards. The 245/30/22 is a bit shorter than the 295/25....

tirerack.com specs the 295 a little shorter than the 245

but who really cares

technically, by the math it's supposed to be...


295/25/22 = 27.81"

245/30/22 = 27.79"

but that all really depends on the manufact.
