you could maybe get some 3 or 4 inch pipe and weld it in the crossmember so the exhaust can run through it. be like the crossmember on chad lucas' pathfinder and others i've seen. make sure you get some thermal dynamat or something cause it will get hot with the exhaust so close to the floor. had a hardbody with a header and the pipe close to the floor and used to melt my shoe to the floor on long trips. had no carpet at the time.

Hahaha my floor gets really hot as it is, they are as close to the floor as possible. Got a stock floor bodydrop so that kinda eliminated alot of room.

I completely 1 off'd the exhaust in my ride, even had the v6 which made it hard cuz it comes right under the driver and passengers feet then to a y pipe under the tranny so i could hook up smog sensors and cats and such.

I only have pipe and cats under my floor and its a tight fit, and ultra hot in the summer, I put a small turbo muffler behind the rear passenger wheel and ported it out the rear rocker. None of my exhaust drags, and to keep the heat down i header wraped the exhaust from the manifold to the muffler, including wrapping the cats. I also put this heat shild stuff on the bottom of the floor above the pipes, and I put some insulated heat shield around the tranny tunnel and I cut up the stock capet and put that back in as well. Realy cuz my stock floor body drop ended up with just 1 sheet of 16guage between me and the exhaust since i 1 off'd the whole floor.

Ight man good luck with the exhaust.

Thnx for the help. Theres really no room to run the exhaust unless i put a hole in the rear cross member, plus theres no room for a y pipe either. got alot of work to do
