Firewall Tubs Welding in or Tacking?

Hey, when you guys are putting in ur firewall tubs are you welding them in or just tackin them all the way around? If you have some pics post em.

Do them just like any other sheetmetal work. Tack all the way around till they are fully welded. You risk warpage if you start running beads.

Id run 1/2" beads so you get some good penetration but it wont get the metal too hot to warp. Just alternate sides so each piece can cool some before you weld on it again. Working with warped metal sucks!

WELDem solid just keep in mind areas that could hold water, make sure there is a drain or a way for it to runoff
