302 oil pan??

how do u get it to fit, if i have to make the mounts high enough to sit the oil pan right about the steering arm and crossmember, it'll be stickin way out of the hood right? so how did u 302 guys get around this?? thx

im just gonna section and widen my oil pan so the motor can sit lower

ic, this is what i thought about doing also, just make it shorter but i was gonan see if they was any other faster way, like a 351 w oil pan or something,

302 and 351 front sump pans are pretty much the exact same thing. (bolt pattern is different) you canget a dual sump pan like soe ford f150s have. this will make your sectioning your goin to do alot less work..
