best way to get bare metal

whats the best/ easiest way to take a truck to bare metal, sandblasting is not an option

i would just wet sand the shit out of it

grinder w/ 24 or 36 grit resin wheel.

A 3m clean and strip wheel wont remove any metal. Or lock out a DA and use some 80-180 grit sandpaper it'll take alittle but it will work or use a stripper its kinda messy but works good.

40grit on a DA works good

when i worked at a body shop we used aircraft stripper and double taped all seams so it wouldn't run into jambs and other nooks and stuff. then after all the paint had lifted and been scraped off we degreased to get the stripper residue off and then pulled the tape and d.a.'d the rest. that was for all the g.m. warranty repaints. caution that stripper is some nasty stuff, burns skin before you even know its on you.
