98 ranger questions

me and a friend are gonna be doing a sfbd on a 98 ranger. were gonna build a new frame from firewall back. were just trying to figure some things out before we go ahead and do it. were wondering how much of a bd it takes to lay rocker and any other pointers from guys who've done this to a ranger. we've done a stock floor before so we know what were doin, just lookin for some refrences before we start...

mine is a 3.5" sfbd,i used a 98 front clip,and it lays front x-member.

MINES 3.25", but i've heard anywhere from 3 to 4.5 to lay the rocker...i guess it depends on where people measure...?...

it would also depend on if you z'd it like doug did. if you don't z it, which would be retarded not to, you would have to do a unlevel drop, something like 3 in the back and 4 in the front
