If anything it wouldnt be much work to raise the center section of that cowl where it drops down. Much easier that starting a cowl from scratch

There is a guy in Georgia with that hood. He raised the cowl part to clear his motor.

I BOUGHT THE SCOOP IN THE PIC THAT (1STIME) LISTED AND THAT IS NOT WHAT THEY SEND YOU --- WHAT THEY SENT ME IS THE ONE I HAVE NOW MOLDED ON TO MY STOCK HOOD -- AS YOU CAN SEE BELOW --- IS JUST CLEARS THE BODY DROP --- I HAD TO CUSTOMIZE THE GAS CABLE BRACKET AND A FEW MORE THINGS BUT THIS SCOOP WORKS --- MY 2 CENTS --- IF YOU NEED A BETTER PIC OF IT VIEW MY PROFILE --- PEACE !!!

yes ull loose your heat, and no, brians truck doesnt have a 4.6 in it, tis a 4.0 SOHC/automatic
