I could be wrong though, never messed with the stuff

most flex agents are intended to add flexability for a little while after sprayed... for installation purposes of plastic bumpers, etc. however, the finish on your truck sees the same climate changes as the bedliner does. if you can get it to stick which the ones who have tried it have been able to accomplish, you shouldn't have many flex issues.

I have no Issues at all with mine...Its "hippoliner" and the lower bit of my truck (bodyline down, yes its hillbilly)was lined about 4 years ago, when I was ready to paint(base/clear)I red scotchbrited it and painted it like normal panel. Its been done for about 2 yrs now with no problems.as far as "flex" in temperature change,up here sometimes its minus 40 degrees celcius, sometimes plus 40 degrees celsius...like I said,no problems yet.
