Can you paint over Rhino Lining or Line X? I know they color match but I want to know about painting it.

Yea, I guess I'll have to do that. I really want to know. i've seen people add with a blue pearl over the bed liner and so I was thinking you could. Someone who knows PLEASE chime in.

Jason, I worked for LineX for 8 yrs bro... u can paint over it if u do it AS SOON AS ITS SPRAYED, still taped up in the booth, and it will stick just fine.

this is painted over linex or rhino line, one of the two, and it was painted awhile after the lining was sprayed in!

i thought that stuff flexes and fluctuates to compensate for the changing climate? Will paint flex that much? Also, I always thought they did custom colors and when i see the "colored" bedliners i thought it was done at the dealer whether it be rhino liner or linex. I could be wrong though, never messed with the stuff

We add the color in before its sprayed, but you can paint over it just fine. I rattlecanned mine and it stayed with no problems, dont know how clearing it works.
