Spend money once, buy the miller 175 and it will be all the welder you will ever need for doin truck stuff.

first welder i bought was a millermatic 210, great great welder. only paid 1100$ brand new. my advice, buy something good first, you know youll end up learning how to weld and want to weld bigger and thicker in no time man. 220 of course.

i have a lincoln 180, 220v and it works great just sitting on the stand. haha, i havent used it yet but ive heard a lot of good thing about miller and lincoln,

i myself have a Miller 135 and it works great. Although not "recommended", i have welded 1/4" just fine and gotten nice penetration, but also prepped the metal well. I would have preferred to have stepped up and bought the Miller 175, but I also dont have access to a 220v outlet all the time.
