i was thinking about doing the caddy tail light conversion to my hardbody, and started thinking about it... if i remember right, the caddy lights don't have reverse lights in them... what have you guys done for the reverse lights to keep it inspection legal?
usually you dant have to have reverse lights for inspection
and i got some of those skinny caddy lights if you need some $60 shipped
laws are changing all around. my ford got rejected here in la cuz i didnt have reverse lights. hook your lights on your license plate up to your reverse light wires and the problems solved.
id tell them to let me use there flash light for a second
ive got a 4" spot light mounted underneath the bed of mine, i could drive down the road in reverse and be ok, lol
i used a pair of fog lights mounted on a pnumatic actuator which pops out of my tonnau (sp) when i put it in reverse

I want the newer style ones (94-99), not the older ones that are really skinny...
i think i'm just gonna hook up some white LED bars in the crack between the roll pan and the tail gate... so that way they will be hidden until i put it in reverse...
i had clear fog lights and when i was in reverse there was more light than the head lights. i mounted them tuck under the rollpan. worked great
