ok guys a friend of mine, has the 94+ body style he plans on juicing the front & exentually juicing the back he remembers reading somewhere that a 3" notch will lay frame on 205-40-17 so im assuming if he runs 180-60-15 he should be close to laying with a 2link? he eventualy plans on buying some 17s but just wants to lay on some 15s for the time being.

they dont make a 180-60-15 tire.. you can goto www.bagginit.com click on misc, let the notch calculator load, that will tell you how much of a notch you need to lay out on a certain tire size.

205/55/15 isnt a bad 15 to lay on for temp.

Just a suggestion, but I would notch it for more than what you need(or your friend needs). That way when(not if) he decides to go with 18's, or 20's, or anything bigger, he won't have to re-notch the frame.

he'd love to go bigger but since hes moving & all that in the next few months he needs something that the bed isnt all cut up so he can transport his shit from one location to wherever he decides to rent. so hes planning just for 17s with maybe some tubs & thats about it. as he dosnt feel like going full out on it cause he has two projects already ahead of this he mostly wants a daily dragger. hell he just found a 195-45-15 so he will be like an inch off the ground for now.
