I hate the torsion setup on my hardbody... so much easier to lower a truck with springs... *pulls out Sawzall*

by then time u break out ur & plugged in.... u could have a torsion bar truck lowered it's only 2 bolts & if ur only wantin to get rid of the strut rods why not just mod the lower control arms by added a piece to them to make them into an A arm :???:

but that can only bring you so low... i've cranked mine all the way down, and would like to get a lil bit lower... i got about 2 1/2 inches out of it... i was hoping for 3, cause i have 3 inch drop blocks for the back to be put in sometime this week, and according to my measuring tape, the back will be about a half inch lower than the front... i think the bump stops on the front and stopping me from going lower on the front... i'm gonna chop those in half soon though... unless any of you have a better idea to get another 1/2 inch in the front for free...

IF UR BARS ARE OUT THEN U ARE MORE THAN LIKELY SITTIN ON THE BUMP STOPS. U COULD EITHER CUT THEM DOWN OR TAKE EM OUT. THAT WILL PROLLY GIVE U THE EXTRA 1/2 INCH

you are right... it is sitting on the bump stops... i'll probably take them out soon... i've already put in the drop blocks in back and it looks good...

hardbody's are one of the easiest trucks to lower next mazda's and toyota's on my fist nissan (many many moons ago) all it had was a 4 inch frame step and air shocks all the way around and I dragged frame with no problem on 17's just remember if you want the front lower you have to lower the back you wont drag with out a step or sub frame depending on how big your wheels are
