donk magazine anyone seen it

I saw an issue at the local grocery, it was like a train wreck, just hadta look!!! That mofo should out sell MAD magazine. What's bad is you see a few cars w/good potential, just to be F-ed up by someone else's ideas. I know, "to each their own", but being an owner of a bubble---makes me shake my head.

I seen those types of Mags before... That whole scene is getting pretty big where I live, i have probably been asked 5-6 times by people drivin by my house and seeing my ride, if i would lift there cars to stuff big wheels. IDK when i see those things i laugh a lil inside, but Im sure most people laugh inside and out when they see me drivin my ride... did you even read my post, at all, even one word of it. I believe the FIRST sentence said I WOULD NEVER OWN OR DRIVE ONE.

All I said is that there are some well built ones, like there are some well built lowriders, streetrods, old muralled up vans and even imports. I never said they were rich, I mean shit am I rich cus I got 20's or am I broke and eating KD, I guess I have tonnes of money to spend on stupid things like paint and wheels, and I bet there suspension didn't cost as much as mine, so I must be a rich spoiled brat.

Too many haters out there, just becuase it ain't YOUR THING, doesn't mean it doesn't take a lot of work, and can be respected for what it is.

The really sad part is that I used to work at the shop that is doing alot of those rides that are in the latest issue(Dreamworks Motorsports). The black 60 Caddy that there are a few pics of with the mural on the trunk is very sick. I can honestly say that there are several of those riding around here now and I'm actually kind of impressed at the level most of them are being taken to.

Ahh hell, I'll say it...It's like pushin' out a big turd & sayin' "Y'all come see this before I flush it"!

I'll have to agree with Chris on this one. Most of those cars are done like we do our trucks!! The paint, interior(although it may be ugly), undercarriage, and what not. But I will say that the shit in the mag is real clean not some shitty work. I wonder what they say about our stuff???? you know..

I respect them for being different.I have seen some nice ones...like a 96 impala miami dophins green with 24 inch green/orange spinners.
