ok well guys just another little question i got for you. im just wondering when i life my truck up it seems that it raises very slowly, espcially the front. it drops down nice and fast just raising seems to take a lil time. i checked if anything is binding and it all seems to be ok. im not sure what else it could be. oh yea i have firestone air bags and im using spool vavles if that makes a difference
firestones will lift a little slower than the stiffer bags like Slam's will, b/c the sides pooch out as well when u fill em up, which also takes away from full lift potential, Ive never been a fan of spool valves, but i dont know if that would make it any slower tho...
well the rear seems to lift not so bad, but i was just thinking because theres no weight really in the rear. and the front was just lifting slower because of the more weight on the truck
and im guessing what your sayin is there would be no way of me fixing this unless i use differnt brand bags?
you answered your own question so I would change your valves or changed your bags
you didnt specify what pressure you were running at.
my first reaction is to say more pressure.
Yea bro the front does take a lil longer than what the rear would because of the weight difference. Slams would lift somewhat faster because they are stiffer..
ive run 150psi on them and still slow no matter what pressure there at. but thx, by the sounds of it, it just must be the firestones i got. il just have to live with it until it comes time to change them. thx for the responses
many times if you increase the volume it will fix the problem. Pressure doesn't matter if you don't have a enough volume.
