Looks great. Couldn't you use a drop trailer axle and get the disc brake option like these http://www.etrailerpart.com/35kdroptraileraxle.htm

That would give you more drop to begin with and disc brakes. Just wondering, would like to know if it would work ..

you should think of running that fuel filler out of the car, maybe behind a taillight, or else you're gonna get mighty high whenever you have to fill it up

we origionally had a drop axel the thing is with that it would put alot of stress on the 4 link twist wise when a bump was hit but also considering that the car isnt a daily it probably wouldnt matter. right now it is pretty solid setup it fully lays in the rear and still has room to go. knowing that it is dangerous to only have the 2 front brakes working its not like its ever hott roded around and hes not bad about riding people but as well. it was more the fact that it would of been alot more advanced to hook up the rear breaks, that was the basic reason for not using them.

No shocks... no brakes... just plain cheap.
