power wire for air zenith

alright i picked up a solenoid, is there a sertin way to hook it up or do you just put the 12v n compressor on the big posts and ground n press. switch on the little ones?

wtf... i started a post about this same thing a few weeks back and i was told i could use 8 gauge wire with a 40-50 amp fuse.. (im going to use a 60 amp fuse... i already bought all the shit.. am i screwed now?

How is the air zenith??? how much are they and are they worth it... Im running 2 450 on a 5gallon

Seth you'll be OK with that, but I suggest to anyone to use a solenoid. I have a few of the Stinger solenoids, they're a bit more pricey but worth in my opinion.
FLATPRO, the Zenith is definitely worth the dough, but I don't think you would see too much improvement from what you have already, maybe a little, but I doubt you would be overwhelmed by it

ya the zenith kicks ass!!!i was runnin 8 gauge w/ a 50 amp fuse and melted it .plus my relay kept stickin on even after my press. switch closed

what do you guys think of the cheaper solenoinds at the bottom of this page in 12 volt models they have 3 under 25 bucks.http://www.robotmarketplace.com/marketplace_solenoids.html

alright, back from the dead (sorry) if i pick up one of these, do i just run my 6 gague from the battery to the big post and then my relay wire to the other top post? what are all the other posts on that solenoid? my compressor is in the trunk, is it ok to place this solenoid in the trunk? or closer to the battery...? thanks guys
