seat "hump" importance

how important is that hump across both the driver and passenger floor boards that the stock seats bolt to?

I realize it's probably a structural bend, but how bad would it change my cab if i cut them out?

reason i want to do this is so i can mount some lower seats, like civic SI seats and not have to build huge brackets to go over the hump.

i cut mine out for the delsol seats, no problems so far

cut mine out too i think they are just there to give your seats some hieght

Mine as cut they save my knees, help the driving with no tilt steering

mines cut and body dropped no problems at all
