heres my problem. on my front i had to trim my upper bag cup. I am running my ariline off an elbow out the side of the cup. i notched the cup as much as possible. the problem is the top of the airline rests against the frame when i fully install it. so that worries me about the line rubbing. I thought about rubber but that has give and will eventually rub through. so i cut a piece of steel pipe that slides over the airline and through the notch in the cup. it fits fine beteween the cup and the frame. My dilemma is what to do to keep that piece of pipe from sliding off where it needs to stay. any thoughts ?
you can use fue injected line over it.. its pretty thick....
as for the steel sleeve you could tack it into place possibly?
make the line go out the top of the frame....
i used non metallic wire conduit which is pretty rigid and i just made a hole slightly smaller then its diameter and it stayed there.
Yea some kind of conduit is what I used over my entire airline that ran from back to front, just keeps it safer and I was worried of sparks hitting it or something lol. Just look around for anything you have that'll work.
use some wire loom and zip ties?

sparks, lol, been there done that. had the airline ran through my frame and onetime a single spark flew up, settle'd on the line and melted a hole in it. and it wasn't even a good drag, it was one of them rollin a quarter inch from the ground and skippin off pebbles, lol.... sorry, had to share
but for the grommet, why not just tac that piece u have into place? it's metal right?
can you guys get me a picture of that flexible conduit? and maybe i can tack the steel pipe in place....
You could use a steel tube and weld it to the cup and run your line the it then it rub anything
