THATS WHY GARRICK AND I LIKE THE ONE ON THE OREGON IDAHO BORDER, BRING BACK THE RIVER RUNS! BUT AT A PLACE LIKE THAT EVERY ONE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM SELFS, NO DRUNK CRUZIN, DRAGING, BURNOUTS, YOU WOULD BE AT THE MERCEY OF THE OREGON STATE POLICE AND THE PARK RANGERS, BUT IF EVERY ONE JUST CHILLS AND HAS A GOOD TIME IT COULD BE A GREAT TIME AND A ANNUAL EVENT,

Garrick, I think this sounds like a great idea and I am truly interested. I can pull some strings possibly and get some giveaways and what not for it even if it's a no-trophy show. PM me and let me know the low down dirty details!

I'm going to check on a place that has 99 campsites/rv sites, and a motel next door.In the downtown area, the Ocean Shores blocks off the center of town for the Harleys every year. Plus they just built a new convention center.Would anybody be interested in a show here, say Aug 11-13? If the city is cool with it, I'll need some help getting it set up.

It would be cool to meet on the coast, but you should try and keep it closer to the end of July. Some people have a hard time paying for something like that and a trip to Summer Slam two weeks later.

Chris, I had thought of that.
End of July is out. That's Harley weekend down here, 3,000 to 5,000 bikes. I can email the Harley group and see if they wouldn't mind letting us show.
Aug 4-6, might be a possibility, but I'm supposed to be hosting a classic boat gathering here that weekend. But, I might be able to change the date for that.
I also looked at another site here. It's completely fenced off, gated, and huge (used to be the Rayonier log sort yard). It's right next to the bay, and not near any private homes.
I talked to the Port of Grays Harbor (they own it) and they sound pretty receptive.
It's a very primitive site, it would need porta's, and generators. No toilets or power. But it does have at least one building on it that cars can be in, and it does have a paved area.
