so the bed kit is $800?

yea once everything was said and done it was 1030 to my door... that includes polished stainless strips and EVERYTHING you need to finish the kit... including sandpaper, paint brushes, stain, varnish, sealer, hardener, tack cloths... i mean everything. its bruce horkeys show deck option.... it has an alluminum sub frame so i can put it on hinges and lift it up when i need to get gas etc. you can check em out at www.horkeyswoodandparts.com

Not trying to be a smarta** but.... couldn't you make your own wood floor cheaper? Measure it, cut it, plane the wood, and even stain it then install and go to lowes or home depot and find something to use for the strips. Just a thought.
