REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DRAG!!

just got my 1997 nissan hardbody extended cab, fully bagged on 17"s clean as a mother fucker. took the day off of school to put the title in my name and cruise(was 17, had the kewlest truck in my highschool parking lot) cruised all fucking day and never drug waited till about 8pm got on 1-17 infront of heavy traffic let the front down real low and laid the ass out for a couple minutes. cars laying on there brakes behind me.. it was the coolest feeling in the whole world watching those sparks shower

dragging?

well my first time was lets see now, spring of 2003. my buddy just finish body dropping a suburban, finished it all up still no interior and took it out. driving down the road about about 40 layed it out and threw the greatest sparks i have ever seen. never forget that till the day i die. needless to say the first time i went draggin it was rockers, havent looked back since

i remember the first time i saw a truck drag was on hwy 3 and it was a bd x-cab dime it looked tight so i was like hey i got a dime so i bagged it and drug the piss out of it on i45 over a bridge up and down it then i bd my truck to the doors and it was kinda wet outside but i was like fuck it i dragged it up and down my street 4 2 hrs my neighbors laughed then when they saw the street next day they were pissed cuz of all the drag lines hahahaha bitches

I've actually got pix of my first EVER drag.

We were coming back from the All Chevy Nats in Pigeon Forge one year. My buddy BabyT, who was the resident dragger extraordnaire, was onto me all weekend because I had never drug the sonoma (first trip out, 3 hours from home, no trailer, I'm a wuss). Anywho, on the way home, he's dragging a bit in front of me and showing off, and suddenly I'm like "screw it" and shot in front of him on 25E outside of Morristown and layed it out. He actually had a old mavica with him and managed to get the tail end of my drag. Check out the rain in the pic, LOL.

My first drag I just laid out the back, and tore my roll pan off!!! Expensive first drag!!

1995 for me
89 mazda walthrough, and camper, 1/8" 120volt valves, would shock me when it was humid out. didn't mean to drag it the first time, just riding 2 low, got off the freeway hit the ground, sparks flew inside the bed, went into the cab and burned the hell out of the back of my head and neck, LOL

Haha my first time was on a couch at my girlfriends house....oh shit wrong story. Well I had just got done putting my truck back together from the b/d and bagging it and I went to a grocery store parking lot next to my house to test the bags and everything else out, keep in mind I had never had anything bagged before so I thought screw it I will just let all the air out and see what happens, so I got going about 35 mph or so and laid it out and it sparkedand scared the shit out of me so I lifted it quick and then I got some more balls and said wtf so I turned around and got ready to go again, this whole time a few of my friends were standing in the parking lot watching so I was thinking I will do a burnout and then drop it thinking i would look cool so I hamered it and as soon as I did my u-joint broke and my drive shaft hit the ground and was going crazy haha, my ignorant redneck buddy put my u-joint on and got side tracked and didnt put the retaining clip in. So we all pushed my truck back to my house.....memories are great

good post indeed, when i got my truck bagged in the rear around june 2005, i had only ever hit a switch in a bagged truck once, neway, i picked the truck up from living low customs down here in sydney, australia, and i still had my leaf hangers on the chassis...i was scared shitless to drop it down to low cause i didnt know wat it would be like, nonetheless bout 10mins after leaving the shop, we started driving down the ramp onto the highway got the truck to about 65 or so (like 110kms) then slowly slowly tapped it down haha..my mate n his gf were behind me the whole time and i laid out leaf hanger and my old towbar for the first time...scared the shit outta me, but i learnt quickly that nite haha, by the next day i had no leafhangers below the chassis, and i had already accomplished my first 180- drag haha
