REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DRAG!!

This might be a lame thread but im bored and I miss my truck.

But as the topic says... do you remember your first time draggin? I remember mine I was on my way to work after finishing watchin one of the LLV dvds and the road to get there is pretty straight and long. So as I got closer to work I said fuck it and proceeded to let the air out and drag on the ground. Since it was my first time I dont think it really looked that good although the sparks were flyin. I fell in love after that.... I still have to much of my frame rails though. Wont be for long when I get my truck back.

What about you guys? What was your first time like? Gimme some stories.

I remember mine:

Bagging the front of my blazer, me and a friend spent all weekend on it.. stayed up late, exausted and I kept mentioning not wanting to drag until I was used to how everything worked and how it handled.. well we finished, I still had a small leak we were about to fix and I went like 40 down my street and laid the front out and dragged the crossmember up and down the street a few times so my family and everyone who was stopping by to help could see lol. That was my first drag.. pretty fun

ahhh... the memories....first time was w/ manual valves in 1998, w/ my 2nd S10...took forever to raise it back up

on the way back to the hotel from blood drag 06 for about 2 miles of draggin azz and as luck would have it LOWRIDER WAS PLAYIN ON THE RADIO!

first time i was sceared as hell.but dam those sparks looked good.now after my bodydrop i couldnt belive it sparks were everywhere.all 4 lanes full of sparks.good time.

in my buddies 85 s15 on dubs when he first got it done. i was swirving back and forth across 4 lanes of road..(my 2 lanes and the 2 lanes of oncoming traffic) for about 4 or 5 miles. was a little squirly but a lot of fun. then i had to get my own now i drag everywhere

first time dragin would have to be when i first got my truck bagged and im goin to school and flyin through the parking lot i layed the back out and threw sparks all over.. only did it for a couple seconds cuz i relized i hadnt raised my gastank yet.. so thats what was draggin lol

mine was the night we brought it home from gettin my rear bagged, had a tank, no comp, 1/4 line and 1/4 manual valve.....i had to near lay it out then start drivin cuz it was so slow....i only drug about 30 ft but i saw sparks and i was happy.......the next day i drug up and down my road now my frame is lookin nice!!!

hells yea it was in my 95 s dime with 1/4" manuals once you started it was gonna last becuz it took 5 minutes to lift up. HAHAHA hell that was back in 99

i rmember mine in my s10 it was like the fall of 04 i just got my truck bagged and me and mny brother were painting the frame for it and i said lets go for a ride to get some drinks so we went and going down the main road with no tail lights or a bed on my truck im railing going like 55 cars are swerving all over the place to dodge the sparks it was cool as hell to top it off when we pulled into the store this old lady pulled in behind us and said sunny i think you have something broken i said yea i had a flat hahaha
