Hey guys, been a reader of the forums for awhile (year or so). I've got an 89 GMC 2500 LD SRW Phantom Dually. not the most beautiful thing to look @ but it keeps my weekends occupied =). It's not a daily driver.
I'm from the centex area north of austin about 45 mins.
The truck is bagged with 8 SMC 10mm orifice 3/8's valves for fbss, 3/8's line, firestone bags on 150PSI. 5Gallon tank with two viar 480's and a parallel 4 link with a panhard. The frame is c-notched. Also it's got an 00 Escalade front. I'm running a 5 rocker switch box (one of the cheap ones from suicide doors) setup one switch per wheel and the 5th for pankcake.
State inspection is out right now so it's in the garage and has been since oct waiting on new tires. I want to do the rims, and might do the backend and go to a 3500 drw and get away from the phantom so while i think about that I just finished the valve setup so next is 5 more gallons of air , 5 just doesn't cut it for as much as i like to play, then I'll explore new tire/rim options, spindles and a notch to get it to lay all the way out. I do all the work myself, it's my first project so the going is slow.
Here are some, not the best If i remember I'll add more to the album when I get home, I've got some of the air management and rear setup.
If someone is curious, yes it's currently 6 lug, and the rear rims are weld 15x14 with Mickey Thompson sportman sr 31x18's. I'd like to go to 20's but finding 20's that are wider then 12 and not the xd rockstars is hard.
