wet cut is nice, plus they have better clamps then abrasive saws.

the carbide tipped blades are pretty badass. A little scary at first because u dont think it should work, but it does. I used a radial saw style one this summer at work, cut through 1/4" like butter.

yea there a little pricey, i wanna get something for my shop becasue i have the welder now i need to be able to cut the metal to be able to weld it. ive been looking at bandsaws, abrasive chop saws and these dry ones and the try ones look the coolest to me.

i got a Ryobi that i bought from sears like three years ago for 210 and have never once had a problem with it. i couldnt live without it. its a dry blade setup which means it gets a little messy and a respirator isnt a bad idea if used in enclosed areas. but other than that it kicks ass. i usually point the sparks into a thick box to keep the vapors/sparks/clean up to a minimum. it cuts fast as fuck through just about anything. harbor freight has cheap ones for about 70 bucks that supposedly work well.
