I *love* the idea of a "where are they now" issue. Get some of the older, famous feature trucks (Last Look, Balistic, Raspberry Delite, etc) and maybe not even do a full feature, but at the very least a photo montage for 5-7 pages, maybe have some before or after pix if they're really haggard now.

For example, the old "Mello Yello" late 80s dodge dakota feature truck- bright ass yellow with tons of graphics, 17" centerlines when 17s were HUGE- is a local work truck now for a coal miner. I see it around all the time, tool box in the bed and all.

Potentially could show Chad Snapps bed dancing S10- it was shelved for a few years (I seen it first time at 1998 nats in pforge), and then it reappeared at ITB this past year with bigger rims, updated style, etc.

Very cool idea, bravo.

Talk about a blast from th past...dig this mazda out of the 1992 archives "ColorBlast" man I always loved that truck the last time I seen it in person was in 94...one of the guys in Assorted Miniatures had picked the truck up from cali and brought it back this way...it has always been an oleschool fav of mine.
but back on topc there has already been an s-dime and an import issue so why not give James and the Ford guys some play? oh yeah the dodge guys to!

how about when someone gets featured they submit some before pictures so people can see what can be made out of a truck.

Just read this post. I have always wondered what happened to some of the old features, would love to see what happened to them.
Not to sure if many figure it to be timeless but I purchased the purple Ranger that was featured in 97 (Dynamic Duo) this truck inspired me to build my Ranger. The truck looks very nice and only change is different tires and tail lights put back in.
Keep up the good work in MT and let se some more of the old trucks.
