The shop that I worked at last summer had a chevy dually that had a 4 inch chop and the bed was welded and molded to the cab. Was a feature in Truckin a while ago. It was Yellow with the Belair sides airbrushed on, and a caddy front clip. Nice truck but underneath it wasn't very well done, and there were signs of cracking where the two were welded together.
Look up Chopped Mazda on here in the owner profiles, that truck has been made into a unibody- the Mazda that is.

There has been a few of them featured on the cover StreetTrucks.
Also the concept version of the Silverado SS was unibody. That kind of counts as custom since they didn't produce it that way. LoL
man i love the SS, i didn't know that tho
