I'm just curious, has anyone every welded the bed of the truck to the cab to made it all one piece? It came up in a conversation today with a friend, i'm sure someone has, i've just never seen it personally

Dude, this is not a new idea. Ford made "unibody" trucks a LONG time ago.... Not to mention there have been several late models, and several featured as well..
You live under a rock?
i do belive that the Honda Ridgeline is a unibody desing.not to mention those that are in the mini scene that have welded the cab to the bed, so yes as the guy above me said, its been done lol-alex
yea, i knew some came like that, but i meant it for the ones that didn't come like that, i had jsut never seen it
unlucky- thanks for the pic
I think there was a truck that IF customs did that was a 4in b/d?.. and a 2in chop top that was a unibody... it was flat black last I saw
